About the Journal
Melanesia Journal of Education and Social Studies (MJESS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that serves as a platform for academics, educators, researchers, and practitioners to publish their scholarly works in the form of original research articles. The journal primarily focuses on the fields of education and social studies. MJESS encourages publications that address critical issues such as education—including instructional innovation, educational technology, curriculum development, teaching methods, strategies, and learning models—and sociocultural studies, which include disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, social psychology, communication studies, social history, and sociolinguistics. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous peer-review process by qualified reviewers to ensure its academic quality and contribution. This journal not only functions as a medium for scientific dissemination but also as a space for collaboration and critical reflection aimed at strengthening educational development and sociocultural understanding in the Asia-Pacific regions.
